Program Opportunity: “Laboring with Hope” to Improve Awareness of Maternal Health Disparities<https://news.nnlm.gov/region_5/laboring-with-hope-program/>, The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 5 is offering an opportunity for NNLM members in Region 5 to host a viewing of the 30-minute documentary, Laboring with Hope<https://www.laboringwithhope.com/> for their communities. This program is intended to improve awareness of maternal health disparities and create opportunities to share reliable health information.
The NNLM Data Visualization Challenge<https://www.nnlm.gov/nec/resources/datavizchallenge>, hosted by the NNLM National Evaluation Center, encourages participants to push the boundaries of their skills by testing out new tools, techniques, or approaches, and publicly demonstrating their best visualizations. Submissions will be accepted February 1 - March 31, 2023

The program is designed for a number of audiences including patients and their families.
NIH National Eye Institute has created a virtual reality (VR) app — See What I See<https://www.nei.nih.gov/learn-about-eye-health/outreach-campaigns-and-resources/see-what-i-see-virtual-reality-eye-disease-experience> — that shows what it's like to live with vision loss from common eye diseases, including glaucoma. The app also features four quizzes to check your knowledge about age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.

HHS MyHealthFinder: Take Good Care Campaign
The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) created the Take Good Care campaign to help people get essential clinical preventive services. Focusing on Black and Hispanic women ages 45 to 54 who are often in caregiving roles, the campaign encourages prioritizing preventive care through the MyHealthfinder tool<https://health.gov/myhealthfinder/takegoodcare>. Preventive care includes health care like screenings, checkups, and vaccines. These services can find health problems before you have symptoms — or even stop issues from developing altogether.

Report Rapid COVID-19 Test Results with Make My Test Count
COVID-19 testing remains an essential public health tool. Now, you can report a positive or negative COVID-19 at-home test result through MakeMyTestCount.org<https://makemytestcount.org/>. NIH's Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx®️) Tech program helped develop the site, encouraging users to report test results anonymously.

HHS Releases Report Detailing Biden-Harris Administration Efforts to Protect Reproductive Health Care Since Dobbs
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently released a report entitled: “Marking the 50th Anniversary of Roe: Biden-Harris Administration Efforts to Protect Reproductive Health Care<https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/roe-report.pdf>,” which outlines the actions HHS has taken in the face of the health crisis precipitated by the Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade. HHS is continuing work across our divisions to protect access to reproductive health care and to ensure that everyone knows their rights<https://reproductiverights.gov/>.
