HISTORY UNDERGRADUATE ADVISORS via Histmaj histmaj at u.washington.edu
Thu Dec 11 14:16:33 PST 2025

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out on behalf of the Emory Journal of Asian Studies, an undergraduate academic journal dedicated to the study of Asia. We are now accepting submissions for our Spring 2026 issue, and we would be very grateful if you could help us share this call with students in your department who may be interested in publishing their work.
We welcome submissions that explore Asia through any disciplinary lens from history and political science to literature, sociology, and cultural studies. Our aim is to provide a platform for undergraduates to engage critically with Asian societies, histories, and experiences. The deadline for submission is Sunday, February 1st, 2026. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and should be emailed to emoryjas at gmail.com<mailto:emoryjas at gmail.com>. We encourage students to submit papers written as class assignments.
For convenience, I’ve attached a flyer that includes all the submission information. Please feel free to share it with your students or include it in departmental newsletters!
Thank you very much for your time and support in helping us reach interested students.

Chief Editor, Emory Journal of Asian Studies
