At an in-person career fair, events are hosted on campus in a large meeting space, wherein employers set up booths for students and alumni to visit. In-person career fairs are a great way for students to meet face-to-face with representatives of companies that appeal to students' majors, interests, and goals. The 2024 In-Person Summer Job & Internship fair is open to all majors and years of study, including alumni of all three UW campuses and community members. 33 registered employers are actively recruiting Huskies for full- and part-time career and internship roles across all industries. Preview the list of currently-registered employers here, register for the fair, and browse open positions prior to attending. Registration is currently open to UW Seattle students. Registration will open to UW Bothell and UW Tacoma on June 14, 2024, at 8:00am. Encourage students to: * Optimize their Handshake profile by adding Skills and Experience - here is a great how-to * Consider having the Career & Internship Center review their resume in advance of Fair Day * Attend virtual webinar Career Fair 101: How to Prepare for a Fair on June 17th from 11:30am-12:30pm (optional but helpful) Questions? Virtual career fairs are hosted on an online platform; the UW Career & Internship Center uses Handshake, which offers students an opportunity to connect with employers in two ways: 30-minute Group Sessions and 10-minute 1:1 Sessions. Virtual career fairs are a great way for students to meet with representatives of companies that appeal to students' majors, interests, and goals in a virtual setting, which can be less overwhelming and more efficient than in-person career fairs. The 2024 Virtual Summer Job & Internship is open to all majors and years of study, including alumni, of all three UW campuses. 12 registered employers are actively recruiting Huskies for full- and part-time career and internship roles across all industries. Preview the list of currently-registered employers here, register for the fair, and browse open positions prior to attending. Students will also need to register for open Group or 1:1 Sessions in order to build up their schedule of employer meetings. There is no way to participate in the fair without registering for sessions. We encourage students to update their Handshake profiles with recent job, volunteer and coursework experience, as well as a resume for employers to review. Questions? Email cicevents@uw.edu.
